Deanna is a passionate writer, entrepreneur, and Life Coach.
My Story

Deanna created her first business—The Enchanted Cottage—over 35 years ago, with the original concept to help others run their lives smoothly by organizing and assisting them with their homes or businesses. She enjoyed easing her clients’ minds with her creative problem-solving skills, but she also found that her clients soon became like family. They shared stories, traditions, and life lessons with her like personalized gifts.
The spark of passion began to smolder and Deanna soon found herself dreaming of a way to pay forward the gift she’d been given.
Over time, passing the stories orally between those who sought her aid became not enough. Deanna returned to college and finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication in 2016. She rediscovered her love for creative writing and even had pieces published in the literary magazine.
During her schooling and internships, she saw the struggles that her fellow youthful students faced in early adulthood. She felt that this could be her calling to pay forward all the wisdom she received in her life. Upon graduation, she was immediately hired as the Academic Coach on the UW-Platteville Baraboo campus. To further sharpen her skills, she acquired a certification in Life Coaching and Online Instruction.
Since then, Deanna decided to return back to her entrepreneurial roots while combining her skills and training as a personal advocate and Coach.
Deanna’s belief is that we all have the ability to choose how we react to and perceive our world. Her deepest desire is to help others discover what is already within them, and equip them with the skills, tools, and passion to be able to live their best life.
Aside from her professional life, Deanna is also a wife and mother of two grown children, two silly pugs, a few kittens, a collection of Koi fish, singing frogs, and daring dragonflies that entertain her days.
She enjoys books (even considers herself an “avid nonfiction book collector”), experimenting with the art of cooking, connecting with those around her, and reimagining her home with her husband. Deanna recently added a Koi pond off the side patio that is the perfect spot to reflect, dream, and plan.
Journaling, yoga, reiki, and kayaking are all part of her path to build and maintain her own inner peace.
My Home Life

“Deanna is the best!… I went from being on an academic probation list to a 3.2 GPA in one semester. Not only did she help me improve my academic standing, but she helped me overcome many personal struggles as well. If you are looking for organizational ideas, study tips, words of encouragement, or pretty much anything else, you’re in the right place. To this day, Deanna still checks in with me to see how I am doing. I am so grateful to have met her and to have [had] the chance to work with her.
